Hi there, Deborah. Welcome to planDisney, where you ask us your questions and we
dig a little deeper to find the answers!
At present, the majority of
theme park tickets sold through the
Walt Disney World Resort website are date-based. If you are asked to choose a set of dates during the ticket purchasing process, the tickets you are purchasing are date-based tickets. These tickets typically have
a specific window of use. So, if you choose a start date from a calendar and your 10-day theme park ticket expires 14 days after that selected date, you, my friend, have purchased date-based tickets and do not need
Theme Park Reservations at this time.
Phew! Now that
that's out of the way, let's chat about Halloween! Why? Because
Disney Parks Blog just announced the dates, returning offerings, and new offerings for this year's
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at
Magic Kingdom Park! So if you're planning on visiting during August, September, or October, there's a chance a party will be available when you're there and I highly recommend that you go. This year, your gracious hosts, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, will be sporting brand-new costumes and there will be more villain sightings! Plus, WE CAN TALK ABOUT BRUNO because he'll be meeting and greeting during the party! Sorry for screaming there for a minute, I'm just so used to
not being able to talk about him!
Deborah, no matter when you're traveling to the resort, there are bound to be treats...and a few tricks from attractions like
The Haunted Mansion and
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror!
If you have any other questions, about Halloween or otherwise,
you can send them my way.
Hurry back because we'd like your company,
Matt
