Hi, Susan, and welcome to planDisney! A day at Walt Disney World between cruises sounds like a dream. I just love how you plan!
I see that you'll be visiting from across the pond, and while
14-day and 7-day tickets can be purchased in advance from Great Brittain, single day tickets cannot be. I have some ideas for you, though. Once you arrive in the USA, you can use the
US version of the Walt Disney World Resort website to purchase your
single day tickets. Another option is to purchase your tickets on site when you arrive at your desired Disney Theme Park entrance. Purchasing in advance is preferred, though, especially in April, to ensure you can secure your entry in case tickets sell out.
I'm not sure which park or parks you're hoping to visit, but if Magic Kingdom is in your future, I recommend sticking around for
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, Disney's newest nighttime parade. I saw it for the first time a few months ago, and I seriously teared up. It's so beautiful, and the music brought back memories of the first time I saw the now retired Main Street Electrical Parade as a child.
Susan, I hope you have a fantastic time on your cruises and on your oh so magical Disney day. If you have any other questions, please bring them back to us here at planDisney.
Have a magical trip!
Melanie
