    We want to book a cruise using our points but we will need to pay some of it cash. Can we book the whole family at once both those using points and those paying cash? Also is it just a deposit to pay when booking or is the whole balance payable?

    Hi Aaron! YES! When you purchase directly from Disney, you can absolutely use your Disney Vacation Club points to set sail on a Disney Cruise Line voyage! That's what we did for a wonderful Christmas vacation in 2012 aboard the magnificent Disney DREAM.  And for our upcoming Spring Break vacation we used points and cash to set sail on the Disney Wonder for a fabulous 4-night voyage to the Bahamas and Disney's Castaway Cay.

    The Disney Cruise Line is part of the fabulous Disney Collection which includes destinations around the world and Adventures by Disney. To book a cruise vacation with your Disney Vacation Club points you'll need to call Member Services and follow the prompts to access the Disney Collection. There is a $95 booking fee for Disney Collection vacations and the entire balance will be due at the time of your booking.

    Since cruise vacations are all inclusive, you'll use more points than a typical resort stay. Be sure to review the Points Charts for Disney Cruise Line itinerary you're interested to determine how many points are required for your vacation.

    With a big family I love that my Disney Vacation Club points can be used fulfill our wildest vacation dreams on land, the high seas and far away adventures...it's MAGICAL!
