I am about to book the cruise tomorrow but we will have a 4 yr and 2 yr old. If we want to do an off ship excursion who will care for the 2 year old? I read about babysitting but it isn't guaranteed. Maybe we should not go until he is 3?

    Hi Kimberly,

Don't wait - go ahead and book the cruise anyhow!  You will be able to pre-book time in the onboard nursery for your 2-year old, and although space isn't guaranteed if you book ahead of time you shouldn't run into problems.  It's more of an issue for the walk-up requests.  The ability to pre-book will also let you know ahead of time if space isn't available, so you could potentially change your excursion time to match available nursery time.

I love sailing with the little ones, and if you wait until he is three you'll have to pay full child fare (they are free before that except for port fees and taxes).

    Good luck with your decision!
