The good news is that you can book either online through the
Disney Cruise Line website or
by phone. Both options have their advantages, so the choice really comes down to your personal preference. The
website has a handy tool that lets you narrow results by any combination of date, departure port, destination, ship, and more. On the website, you can compare itineraries and stateroom categories at your own pace.
If you'd like help deciding between itineraries, have questions about connecting staterooms, are traveling with a larger group, or simply prefer extra guidance, then
calling Disney Cruise Line may be a better option. A Cast Member can answer questions, help you choose a great itinerary for your family, and help you book it.
As a planner, I love
exploring with the online search tool. Once you select an itinerary, you can view the day-by-day schedule, compare stateroom categories, browse photos, and even choose a specific stateroom (unless you book a Guaranteed Stateroom, in which case Disney assigns your room later). You could always use the website to narrow down your favorites before calling to complete your reservation.
I recommend booking early for the best selection of staterooms. To reserve your cruise, you'll typically
pay a deposit, with the remaining balance due a few months before sailing. In most cases, you can also modify or cancel without a cancellation fee until your final payment is due. You can manage your reservation on the website, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, or by phone.
There really is an itinerary for everyone! You can sail from San Diego to Mexico, cruise from Florida to one or both of
Disney's private islands, choose a quick three-night getaway, or spend a week (or longer) at sea. Each
Disney cruise ship also offers a unique mix of dining options, entertainment, and onboard experiences.
