I want to book a cruise that port's in disney aulani but leaves us there a few days to experience the area and then take a cruise ship back. Or if it's recommended to fly instead?

    Aloha, Fernando!

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are thinking about an upcoming vacation to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.  Fernando, see the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me and it will call you too, as Aulani is a very special Resort and Hawaii holds a very special place in my heart.  My 'ohana has visited the islands many times, and we have visited Aulani three times, most recently in August. When the spirit of Aloha meets Disney, it's magical indeed.

Fernando, while there are a few Disney Cruise Line itineraries for Hawaii in 2024 and 2025, these sailings are one-way and either begin or end in Honolulu.  There isn't a port right at Aulani, but there is one in Honolulu. However, there isn't an itinerary at this time that sails specifically within the Hawaiian islands with a start and end in Honolulu, or one that would be able to drop you at Aulani for a few days with a return sailing.  Therefore, there really isn't a way to take a Disney Cruise to Oahu and spend a few days at Aulani, returning on a Disney Cruise.

However, you can certainly fly to Oahu from the Mainland USA to Honolulu, and rent a car or take a shuttle to Aulani.  From Aulani, you can also enjoy all that Oahu has to offer including Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, snorkeling in Hanauma Bay, Kualoa Ranch, the North Shore, and so much more.  There is also so much to do at Aulani as well, so you don't have to journey far from the Resort to enjoy a wonderful experience.

I hope this helps you, Fernando. If you have any further questions, surf back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you. At planDisney, we are your vacation planning 'ohana, and that means nobody gets left behind.
