Hi, Jolanda!
It sounds like you are planning quite the magical vacation by combining an extended stay in
Walt Disney World with a Disney Cruise Line voyage! You are in for a treat on both land and sea.
You are welcome to bring your wheelchair and/or walker with you as you board the ship. Most areas are handicapped accessible. Please read through detailed information that you will find helpful regarding
Mobility Devices. When booking your stateroom, please make sure to book one that is
accessible so you have plenty of room to store any mobility devices as you may not leave any wheelchairs, scooters, or walkers in the corridors. You may want to book your room by
calling Disney Cruise Line directly to make sure your stateroom will accommodate any needs you might have.
When packing for your vacation, plan on 2 checked bags per person (which you will drop off at the port upon arrival; Bags will be delivered to your stateroom). You may also have a carry-on where you should keep your passport, travel documents, medications, valuables, and anything you might need the first few hours of your cruise. All luggage must fit into your stateroom so be careful not to overpack!
Self- and Full-Service laundry is available on all Disney Cruise Line ships. Extra luggage tags will be available at the port. The friendly porters will be happy to assist (tips not required but appreciated!)
Prior to sailing, I suggest filling out the
Special Services Form for anything you need that will make your cruise more comfortable. Please complete the form at least 3 days prior to sailing.
Jolanda, please stop back to your friends here at planDisney if you have any other questions as you plan your vacation with Mickey and his pals. We look forward to hearing from you real soon!
Cathy
