Hi there, Shani!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled to hEAR you will be headed to sea with Captain Mickey! I hope you are ready for a vacation filled with fun, adventure and lots and lots of food!
Dinner dress for the three main dining rooms onboard will vary from cruise casual to formal with some optional themed night(s) in there depending on your itinerary and length of voyage. If you are going on a cruise that is less than seven-nights that is not a specified special-themed itinerary (like Star Wars Day at Sea or Marvel Day at Sea), you can expect to have cruise casual nights, an optional “dress up” night and a Pirate Night. Cruises that are seven-nights or longer in duration will include a formal night, a semi-formal night along with the Pirate Night and cruise casual nights. You will find that Guests will really vary in attire at dinner, and the only requirements are that swimsuits or tank tops (cover up-type, strapless blouses are fine!) are not worn in the main dining rooms. If you plan on dining at one of the adult-exclusive restaurants onboard, they each have a dress code for both men and women.
Have you heard about the unique
rotational dining system that Disney Cruise Line uses?!? It’s one of my favorite things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation because it gives Guests the opportunity to experience the different restaurants and dining experiences. Your dining rotation will be given to you when you arrive at the port for check-in and embarkation.
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
