Hi, Chelsea!
I am excited that you are planning a Disney Cruise vacation for you and your family. I often travel with family and friends which takes a cruise to the next level of magical fun! It is nice that everyone can do their own thing whether it is laying by the pool, a day at the spa, or a full day of port excursions, but then everyone can gather at dinner to share their day's adventures.
Let's start with stateroom locations. When booking your Disney Cruise, you will be able to select your exact room. This is great for a group so you can select rooms near each other if choose to do so. If you have balcony rooms that are next to each other, your stateroom attendant will open the divider between balconies so you can all enjoy your water views together. Once you choose your exact cruise, you can take a look at stateroom availability and decide what floor or area of the ship works best for your group.
Once your cruises are booked, you will be able to link your reservations so you will be seated together for your
rotational dining and will be able to book port adventures or other activities together. To do so, you will need your travel pals' last names and confirmation numbers, and birthdays. On the
Disney Cruise Line website, go to "My Reservations" and you will see your cruise listed. Click on your reservation then select "Add and Link Reservations." Follow each step to complete the linking of your reservations. If you have any trouble during this process,
give a call to Disney Cruise Line and they will assist you.
Whether you spend sunrise to sunset with your family and friends, or decide to share only certain activities together, I hope you have one big party while onboard your Disney Cruise. You will all be able to stay in contact through messaging on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App so make sure everyone has the app downloaded on their phones.
If you are looking for a special treat for everyone, check out the
Onboard Gifts selection. It is fun to have a surprise in your stateroom on embarkation day! I like to purchase a small
water package for my pals. It is not very expensive, and everyone enjoys having water in their room and tossing in a bottled water in a backpack on port days. Each stateroom has a refrigerator so bottles can even be chilled and ready to go! It's just a little extra pixie dust to make your vacation special.
Have fun as you plan your Disney Cruise Line vacation. The planDisney team is happy to help you, so stop back if you have any other questions. Bon Voyage!
