Hi again, Brittany!
Welcome back! So glad you are wanting to bring even more people on your Disney cruise. I’m always happy when I can modify an existing reservation to add a new Guest to my travel party. The more the merrier, right? Sure hope that your husband does get to join you on your October voyage.
Well, the answer to your question is “it depends.” Naturally, you would not be able to add more Guests without a change in the pricing, and you would not be able to surpass the number of Guests in that particular stateroom category. Captain Mickey has to make sure the numbers of Guests for the various
stateroom assignments also works from a safety standpoint with the lifeboat capacity and zones of the ship. So a lot depends on your stateroom location and how many maximum Guests it can accommodate.
The easiest way to make modifications to your reservation is to
contact Disney Cruise Line. Just be aware that there’s usually a time about a week before a sailing where no changes can even be made. So I think this means your husband needs to decide ASAP if he wants to go with you, and that is AFTER you have talked to Disney Cruise Line to make sure he can be added to your specific reservation. As with all reservations, Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to restrict any changes to a reservation, and all changes are subject to availability.
So even though that wasn’t a definitive answer, I bet that you can find out very quickly and then hopefully have him join you and the others already on your voyage. So what are you waiting for? Pick up that phone and find out! All kidding aside, I am so glad that you are letting
planDisney help you with your cruise planning. That is why we are here. Whatever happens, have a fabulous cruise!
Happy Sailing!
