If you book a cruise through Disney Cruise Line, can you book the ground transfer from Disney Pop Century to Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale)?

Ahoy there, Loraine! Welcome to planDisney. I'm delighted to hear that you're considering a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line, and it's my pleasure to lend a helping hand with the logistics of getting from Walt Disney World Resort to Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Let's get right to it!

I do love a land-and-sea vacation, with some time at The Most Magical Place on Earth before setting sail for some relaxation and pampering with DCL. Unfortunately, there is no direct transportation from Orlando to Fort Lauderdale available through Disney - but don't fret! There are multiple ways to get you to Port Everglades for your embarkation day.

DCL does offer ground transportation between the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Port Everglades. Availability can be limited, so I recommend calling DCL to add this to your reservation once you officially book the cruise.

The Brightline high-speed rail line is my personal pick to travel to Fort Lauderdale. The station is right next to the Orlando International Airport (MCO), and you can sit back and relax during your trip to South Florida. You can then use rideshare to get you to the cruise terminal on time.

You can also rent a car for the three-hour trip to Fort Lauderdale. If you decide to drive down the day before your cruise, DCL does offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal for guests of the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, and B Ocean Resort. Again, you'll need to call Disney Cruise Line directly to reserve this. The list of hotels with shuttle service is subject to change, so be sure to confirm when you make a reservation.

Loraine, I hope this information helps you with planning for your 2027 cruise! If our planDisney crew can answer any other questions to help get your (Daisy) ducks in a row, we are always happy to assist. Please come back and see us anytime!
