Hello there, Kristina! I love that you’re planning an exciting cruise adventure with your children. I’m happy to answer your questions.
I recently sailed aboard the Disney Dream from Fort Lauderdale to Mexico over Thanksgiving, and Cozumel was an absolute blast. Regarding travel documentation, US citizens can sail with an original or state-issued copy of their birth certificate and a government-issued photo ID for cruises that start and end at a US Port. Kids 15 years old or younger don't require a photo ID. You can find detailed information about travel documentation for different itineraries on the Disney Cruise Line website under the "Already Booked" tab, then look for "
Travel Documentation.”
Disney Cruise Line does not require documentation from divorced parents or if one of the parents is staying home. As long as you're the parent or legal guardian of your children, there aren't any extra forms to fill out.
I'm so excited for you to discover the magic of a Disney Cruise! When I went on a mother-son cruise a while back, we had a great time! We laughed, stayed up way past bedtime, and indulged in more ice cream than we probably should have – but hey, it was all part of the fun! While your kids are having a blast in the
youth clubs, you can kick back and recharge at the adult-exclusive
Quiet Cove Pool. Get ready to make unforgettable memories that you'll cherish forever!
SEAS the adventure!
