How do I book a cruise?

Ahoy there, Roe. I “SEA” you’re planning a Disney cruise and you’ve come to the right place. So thank you for stopping by planDisney!

You can book a Disney cruise on the Disney Cruise Line website. There’s a wealth of information on there to help with planning your dream vacation. You can peruse the different itineraries and various ports of call. Sometimes, it’s not about the destination but rather, the journey itself. In that case, you may want to check out what each ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet has to offer. While they are all designed with families in mind and offer impeccable Disney service on all the ships, each one has their unique offerings. The older ships are smaller and intimate, which many Guests enjoy, while the newer ships are like fun, floating cities! Another decision you’ll get to make when booking a Disney cruise vacation is the type and location of your stateroom. You can select an Inside, Oceanview, or Verandah room. For a splurge and some extravagance, you can also choose a Concierge-level stateroom or a suite!

When you’ve narrowed down your ideas, you can head to Disney Cruise Line website to book your vacation. You can “Find a Cruise” by filtering by dates, length of sailing, departure port, where you’d like to sail to, or which ship you wish to sail on. Once you’ve picked the itinerary, you’ll select your stateroom. Choose how many people will be in your stateroom and you can then proceed to choose the location of your room. Once you’ve selected your stateroom, you’ll then follow the prompts to fill out the Guests’ and payment information. A confirmation email will be sent to you shortly once your payment has been processed.

There are also Authorized Disney Vacation Planners or travel agents who can assist you in booking your cruise. Whether you book your cruise yourself or with some magical help from a travel agent, be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App and link your reservation. It’s a handy dandy tool once you’re onboard and have connected to the ship’s WiFi!

Booking your first Disney cruise may seem overwhelming. My friends and I at planDisney are here to help you plan an unforgettable vacation. Please feel free to sail by again if you have more trip-planning questions!

    Sending you pixie dust,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
