Welcome Home, Shanon! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm always delighted to meet another
Disney Vacation Club Member and you've got a friend in me!
Shanon, we are currently visiting
Walt Disney World Resort, and every time we drive past
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, we comment on how beautiful it is (especially at night!). This resort has a practically perfect location, and sophisticated theming with Mexican, Spanish, and Southwestern American touches. It also boasts an amazing pool complete with a Mayan-inspired pyramid, and one of our favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World.
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood offers a feast for the senses with delicious food and sweeping views from the rooftop of Coronado Springs.
As a discerning DVC Member, you're clearly aware that you can exchange your
Vacation Points to stay at many Walt Disney World resorts that are part of the
Disney Collection. In my book, this flexibility is one of the best things about Disney Vacation Club! I'm happy to report that it is a snap to book your vacation at Coronado Springs, or any other resort that is part of the Disney Collection. This can be accomplished up to 11 months before your desired check-in date, depending on whether Points Charts are available at that time and the resort is accepting Member reservations.
To complete this transaction, you will need to call my helpful pals at
Member Services. They'll dig into their pixie dust reserves to make some vacation magic happen! Keep in mind that using Vacation Points for a Disney Collection stay will require a nonrefundable one-time transaction fee ($95 at the time of writing).
Well, Shanon, I hope this is just the information you need to make plans for your next Walt Disney World vacation. We're always here at planDisney ready to help with any other questions as your trip approaches!
To Infinity and Beyond!
Susan
