I want to book some character meals for myself, my husband and our 2 year old twins. They will most likely be eating from our plate so should I book for 2 or 4 people? What about at restaurants where they take deposits?

    Hello Kay!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are so excited that you and your family will be coming to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Character Dining experiences are some of my best memories with my youngest children. The look on their faces when they meet their favorite Disney characters is priceless.

When making your advanced dining reservations, please make your reservations to include all the members in your party, even your children under 3. So in your case, you would make the reservation for 4 people. At buffets and family style restaurants, kids under 3 eat for free. At regular Table Service locations, children under age 3 can share from their parent's plate or order from the kids menu. There are only a couple of restaurants that have you pre-pay. Most Disney restaurants have a credit card guarantee (still make the reservation for 4 people), but they don't charge your credit card unless you don't show up for the reservation.
