How can I book character dining and shows. Where can I read about them? Thanks

Hi there, Nichola Marie - welcome to planDisney!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you from across the globe plan their very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort holidays!

Interacting with your favorite Disney Characters is always a highlight of any visit to Walt Disney World Resort. There are magical Character Dining experiences, meet and greets, parades, shows, and so much more!

Let's start with Character Dining! There are options to dine with your favorite Disney Characters every day, including at the four magical Theme Parks and at Disney Resort Hotels. For breakfast, one of my favorites is Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. The food and views are amazing, and you'll get to see Mickey and his pals showing off their artistic sides! At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Tusker House Restaurant features uniquely delicious buffet offerings throughout the day and you'll be joined by Donald and his friends as they prepare for a safari adventure. I love it!

You might also want to check out Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, a fun combination of music, comedy, and delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy food offerings! Character Dining and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue are no different than any other Advance Dining Reservation - you'll be able to book starting 60 days in advance. These do tend to be very popular, so I recommend booking as soon as you are able to!

There are also a variety of shows each with its own schedule and options for attending. For example, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park there are usually multiple daily performances of Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! You can experience these amazing spectaculars by waiting in the standard queue for the next showtime, or with the Disney Genie+ Service, you can select a Lightning Lane for these shows for a shorter-than-usual wait. The same applies to many other shows and parades across the Walt Disney World Resort. Simply use your My Disney Experience Mobile App to view schedules and options for the day of your visit!

I hope this information is helpful - stop by with more questions any time!
