Hi Alison! I'm happy you made your way to us here to planDisney. After all, the wilderness must be explored.
Let me tell you a little something about me. I typically love
not camping. It's my favorite thing to not do. However, I support anyone who loves it and I would
absolutely consider doing it at the
Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. After all, I just wrote an answer about how I would register for a
runDisney race even though I'm not a runner, so let's throw camping into the mix too! But seriously,
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is such a unique and incredible place. From
Chip N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, to the
Fort Wilderness Archery Experience, and so much more, there is no place like this resort. And don't sleep on
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. This long-running show is a classic and has to be experienced at least once!
At this time, the Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, as well as all rooms at the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, can be booked through October 2025. We are not yet sure when dates for the final 2 months of 2025 will be available to book. Just keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements so you can be one of the first to reserve your campsite!
You may also want to look into booking one of the
cabins at the resort. These cabins are currently being renovated and
the first loop of cabins will open July 1, 2024. These new cabins
look incredible and I hope to stay in one one day. After all,
this is my type of camping! But I told you, I'm open to
actually camping here. And running a race. Maybe I'll do both on the same trip. Uh oh, Alison, I've got my big brain
really working here. My husband should be very worried!
Best wishes for "roughing it" at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to check to see if
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be offered while you are there. While these parties are usually not offered during the
week of Christmas, if you're planning on arriving before, there's a chance you'll have the option of attending!
If you have any other questions,
don't hesitate to ask.
The wonders of nature are endless,
Matt
