Hi Richard!
I am so very excited to hEAR you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation planned for this summer! Now that your vacation is booked, it’s time to think about what exactly you are going to do while onboard and at port! Then, once your vacation arrives, you will be able to sit back, relax and enjoy every single bit of it.
Castaway Cay is one of my most favorite places to visit when my family sets sail with Captain Mickey! We love spending the day enjoying the sand, clear-blue water and sunshine! I am pretty sure you will feel the same way after your day on Disney’s private island. Renting a Cabana for the day is an excellent way to ensure you get to enjoy it to the fullest. With comfortable seating, an outdoor shower, snacks and sodas included with your rental you will be able to relax and enjoy the time with your family and make some magical memories. Since your travel party includes children, you will want to consider one of the Cabanas on the Family Beach. Cabanas 1-8 are closer to the restrooms and restaurants, whereas Cabanas 9-21 are a little farther from all the action. You will have access to snorkel equipment with your rental and the best snorkeling can be done at the Snorkeling Lagoon, which is just off the Family Beach.
Cabanas at Castaway Cay are usually pretty popular and sometimes tricky to reserve. If you have reserved a
Concierge-level stateroom for your voyage, be sure to contact your shoreside Concierge 125-days prior to your sailing and make your requests. Then, they will do their best to work their magic and make all your DREAMs come true!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
