Ahoy, Jeff!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Ooo, you'll be sailing to paradise in just one month! How exciting! Your upcoming Disney Cruise is visiting one of my favorite places on the planet:
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! I just returned from a visit to the island and could have spent many more days there! I can't wait for you to experience the beautiful island next month!
I'm thrilled you're interested in reserving a little piece of property for the day you visit Castaway Cay! Booking a coveted private cabana is the strawberry on top of your non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri! Haha! It sounds like you should be within your advance booking window (which opens 75 days prior to setting sail for first-time cruisers). You can log into the "
My Reservations" page on Disney Cruise Line's website and then go to "My Cruise Activities" in order to check and see if a private cabana is still available. If you check and find that the private cabanas are sold out, don't give up hope! Once onboard, stop by the Port Adventures Desk on embarkation day to see if any private cabanas have become available. There may be a last-minute cancelation!
If you find yourself on the tropical island of Castaway Cay without a cabana, you're still going to have a relaxing and amazing time! There will be plenty of lounge chairs, shaded by umbrellas and swaying palm trees, waiting for you to enjoy! There is an abundance of lounge chairs, hammocks and beach chairs along the sand beaches throughout the island.
Jeff, I'll be sending you tons of pixie dust in the hopes that you'll be able to reserve a home away from home on Castaway Cay!
