Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Lisa. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs is absolutely my favorite place to eat while at Walt Disney World. In fact, I just ate there the other day. I love the location of the restaurant right on the lake. It's so fun to watch the amphicars launch into the water. My go-to order is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. That's a must! If there is any room leftover I love to get the key lime pie in a jar. It's light and tart. The perfect for the finishing touches of a meal.
Lisa, you can make advanced dining reservations 60 days in advance. You can do this online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or 7:00 a.m. by calling 407-WDW-DINE. The BOATHOUSE is also unique in that it isn't owned by Disney. If you do a quick internet search you should be able to find the actual restaurant phone number which might be helpful for you to call with such a big number. If you can't get through I would suggest looking for a different phone number. I was able to get through just the other day.
Another great place to eat with a large party is
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. There are plenty of large tables and the food is delicious! It's a great spot to try if you can't get into The BOATHOUSE. I personally love the bunch of puppies with are house-made hushpuppies with pimento cheese and red jalapeno jelly. Sometimes Chef Art Smith is at the restaurant and he's so fun and nice.
I hope this helps, Lisa. If you have any other questions please feel free to
stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.
Enjoy!
Jackie H.
