How can I book a Birthday for my little girl?

Ahoy there, Doris! Thanks for sailing our way here at planDisney with your question about making your little castaway's birthday extra special during your cruise! My family loves making sure to celebrate even the little things on cruises - we once even celebrated the anniversary of our first cruise together - though she never lets me forget I've been on one more than her and hit Platinum first...but that was when I was 15, haha!

The easiest way to let Disney Cruise Line know that your little one is celebrating a birthday is to note it in the "Special Requests" section of your reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website or Disney Cruise Line Navigator app! Simply log in, pull up your reservation, and scroll down to the "Special Requests" section - from there, you'll be able to make requests about specific dietary needs, Child amenities you may require, and finally celebrations! Birthday is probably the most popular option, but you can also indicate honeymoons or anniversaries if you happen to also be celebrating one of those!

You can also reach out to a crew member by email and ask them to note the celebration, and this is the best way to ask if there may be an option to arrange a private celebration of some sort. I noticed your arrival date is in roughly 20 days - usually, special requests such as these need to be in at least three weeks ahead of time, but it doesn't hurt to ask even if nothing is guaranteed!

There are also onboard gifts you can order prior to sailing to make an arrival in your crew's stateroom extra special. From special in-room decor to fun gifts and cakes, there are plenty of options to add a little magic! For the latest availability, be sure to enter your reservation number to see what items are available during your sailing!

Even if all you do to celebrate is take a little time to sit as a family and enjoy one another's company, tell your dining team that you're celebrating a birthday, or even just grab an extra helping of soft serve from the pool decks, I'm sure you and your crew will find shiploads of ways to make these magical memories the best ever!

Thank you for your question Doris - I hope those suggestions help you chart a course for an incredible voyage! If you run into any other rough seas as you continue planning, please drop me another line here at planDisney!

Fair winds, following seas, and a Happy Birthday!
