Greetings, Tanya, and welcome to planDisney! My family loves Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – it's a special experience for any young princess or brave knight, and there are a few packages to choose from. Getting a reservation will be the first step in making this Enchanting Extra part of your next trip.
Magical makeovers at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are quite popular. As such, getting a reservation can sometimes require patience and a wave of the Fairy Godmother's wand. You can check available dates
on the Disneyland website. Here are some tips:
- Select a single date or a range to see the available times. There's a chance you'll get a message that no times are available. You may have a better chance of finding an option if you select a time range.
- If you don't see any availability for the date you were hoping for, check back often. Other Guests may change their plans, and additional reservations may be released, although it's not guaranteed. Reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours before the appointment time, so you might even get lucky and see some availability in the days leading up to your visit.
- If you weren't able to get a reservation online, you can stop by on the day of your visit (ideally in the morning) to ask one of the Fairy Godmother's Apprentices if there is any same-day availability. There's no guarantee that a slot will be available, but it's worth asking.
Remember that both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation are required, and this experience is for Guests between the ages of 3 and 12.
For a child, it's such a special experience to sit in a big seat and be pampered by a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice. I know both of my daughters had an amazing time when they did it before, and they loved being allowed to take their makeup and nail polish home. All that said, if you are unable to get a reservation, you can still go into the shop attached to the salon and have your little one choose something special to buy. You can even ask if the Cast Member can sprinkle a little pixie dust on your child's head, though that may not always be available.
Before we say goodbye, I want to leave you with a few more ideas for your trip:
- Don't miss Bluey's Best Day Ever! at the Fantasyland Theatre. There's live music, lots of references to the beloved show, activities, and more. My kids absolutely loved seeing Bluey and Bingo.
- Stop at Royal Hall for a chance to meet up to three Disney Princesses. You'd make your way from nook to nook to spend a little time with each one. My kids like to think of fun questions to ask them.
- Mickey's ToonTown and Tom Sawyer Island are two great places to go when kids get the wiggles and need to move and explore. We've spent so much time in these two areas!
Tanya, I'll wish upon a star that you'll be able to make Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique part of your upcoming trip. If you think of any other questions between now and then, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at
planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
