Royal Greetings, Liz! It won't be long before your coach carries you from West Sussex to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Making such a long voyage is quite a majestic adventure. I am sure you are looking forward to walking through the gates and seeing Cinderella Castle. For me, that moment never loses its magic.
It's sweet you want to add a bit of Fairy Godmother pizzaz to your vacation by taking your child to
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I love seeing all the little girls and boys have their fairytale dreams come true in this palace of glitter and sparkles.
Unfortunately, at this time, making advanced reservations for this and other Enchanting Extras cannot be done from the United Kingdom.
Just as the Fairy Godmother said to Cinderella: “If you'd lost all your faith, I couldn't be here. And here I am!” Sadly, I don't have a magic wand that can transform a pumpkin into a reservation, but I do have some tips that may help -- with a little faith, luck and persistence.
I have heard some international Guests have been able to make advanced reservations through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner based in the United States or Canada. You may find some luck with one of these agents working on your behalf.
If you are unable to secure an RSVP prior to your trip, you can try to book an appointment through the
My Disney Experience mobile app once you are in the United States. I would try as soon as you are able and keep trying. Plans change, and you may be surprised with some late-breaking availability. On the app, select the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen and search for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. On the boutique's page, you can click "Check Availability." You can search across a range of dates, which is a great function as you may have more success with a date later in your trip.
I have also heard very recently that you may have luck going to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and asking if there is any day of availability. They may have a few openings reserved for last-minute arrivals and you never know if someone had to cancel. I would plan to go first thing in the morning to be there as early as possible.
As a last resort, you can also make your own magic. The
Disney Store has a fabulous selection of apparel for your prince or princess. A little hairspray will hold a dash of glitter in their hair. Even though I called this a "last resort," this is an easy way to make a bit of dream-like magic every day of your vacation.
I am wishing upon every star in the sky that your child is able to have this experience. Even without it, your vacation will be filled with pixie dust and memorable moments. But I am still hoping with every wish this dream comes true.
If you have any other questions, please come back to

Wishing With All My Heart,
