    If I book my August vacation now to be able to book dining as soon as the 180 day window opens and then WDW announces a Special Offer for my travel period can I ask for the offer to apply or I have to live with the risk? Many thanks

    Hi Urs!

        By all means, book now!  You are so smart to book early and take advantage of booking your dining exactly 180 days out.  Don't worry, you can always apply any discount or promotion that YOU QUALIFY FOR after the fact.  Sadly, Disney doesn't automatically apply it, you must keep up to date and call 1-407-WDISNEY and ask them to do it for you.  If you are within 45 days of travel, you will be charged a fee if the price drops; however, your savings should more than make up for it!

        I would recommend checking out sites that constantly monitor discounts - Mousesavers is a great one!  If for some reason you encounter a Cast Member that will not apply the discount and you are certain that you qualify for it, by all means call back.  I wish you the best of luck!
