Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a fantastic resort with super-sized characters from Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid sprinkled throughout. Pool time for you and your family will be extra special because I just know your little Mouseketeers will love
The Big Blue Pool. It's the largest pool at Disney World! Inspired by the hit film Finding Nemo, this zero-entry pool features larger-than-life characters from the beloved film, a splash pad area, and The Drop Off pool bar. It's a stunning pool that your littles will love!
Now that I'm longing for summer like Olaf, let's dive in and answer your question. You'll be happy to hear that you absolutely can request an upgrade when you check into your Disney resort hotel. Whether cast members at the front desk can accommodate your request or not will be dependent on resort availability on the date of your arrival. The cost of an arrival day upgrade will also vary. If you have your heart set on a Cars-themed family suite, I would book it up front and avoid the risk of limited availability upon arrival. Check the
Special Offers page before you upgrade your room type. There are
great promotions available right now that might make the switch more affordable. If you need help with changing your reservation,

Dining Plan if you haven't already because
kids 9 and under dine free through 2026! Also, if your kids are Bluey fans like my son, keep an eye out for announcements on the
Disney Parks Blog as a new Bluey experience is on its way to Animal Kingdom this summer and you might be able to enjoy this while you're there. I personally can't wait to take photos with our favorite Heelers.
