Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! We KNOW you are going to have the most MAGICAL time!

I have to begin by saying that my family absolutely LOVES Disney's Art of Animation Resort! I will still never forget walking into the Cars Family Suites area, and my son literally thought we were starring in the movie! It is AH-mazing!

I want to let you know that The Little Mermaid standard rooms only sleep up to four people. Because you are a family of five, the reservation system will not permit a guest or a Cast Member to book The Little Mermaid standard room. Children three years old or older are considered a part of the room count when booking a Disney Resort room.

My recommendation would be to book a Cars Family Suite! The theming is incredible, and this family suite area even has its own pool!!
