How can I book the African safari zip line trek from the UK. Thank you

    Hi Lauren!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I'm excited to see that you are planning your holiday for next year.  If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, I hope you are taking advantage of the amazing Free Dining & Drinks offer for 2025.  Please know that bookings need to be made by 7th November 2024.

The Wild Africa Trek is part of the Enchanting Extras collection and can be booked up to 60 days in advance.  This video - the Ultimate Guide to Wild Africa Trek features two of my planDisney friends - I think you'll find it useful!

Unfortunately, certain Special Events and Tours and Enchanting Extras that require pre-payment are currently not available to be reserved in advance from the UK, and this includes the Wild Africa Trek.  As soon as you arrive in the US you can access online booking for this on your My Disney Experience app, but if it's fully booked already please remember that cancellations do occur so it's always worth checking availability.  Any Guest Relations location will also help with making bookings for this amazing tour.

I have had occasional success making bookings from the UK by using the Chat feature on the My Disney Experience app, so please give that a try.  Sometimes a helpful Cast Member may be able to make a reservation for you that way.

Using an authorised Disney Travel Agent based in the US or Canada is another possibility for booking your tour.  It must be stressed that you use an authorised Disney vacation planner because there are many travel agents out there who are unauthorised.   My friend and planDisney panelist Ashley gave this detailed answer to assist with finding an authorised planner.

I'm sorry this may not be the perfect answer for you.  However, I am hopeful you will be able to secure your place on this tour, one way or another.  I totally understand how you feel because I have experienced the same issues with making reservations from the UK.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We are always happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World!
