I absolutely love planning my trips as early as possible. There are so many great benefits! For me, the biggest advantage is the ability to budget. I appreciate that Walt Disney World Resort allows you to book your vacation well in advance and make payments throughout the year. This makes the cost feel much more manageable, rather than paying it all at once.
Currently, Walt Disney World doesn't offer an official payment plan, but by booking early, you can log in to your
My Disney Experience account to pay at your own pace and convenience. I noticed you're hoping to book for May 2027; unfortunately, those dates aren't available just yet. Typically, the booking calendar for the following year opens between early spring and summer. Often, dates for the next year become available around May if Disney follows its usual schedule.
I recommend checking back periodically from spring onward to see if those dates open up. As soon as reservations become available, I like to book right away. Then I'd keep an eye out for
special offers throughout the year. If one is released after you've booked, you can
call Disney to apply it to your existing reservation.
May is a truly wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World! I highly recommend checking out the
International Flower & Garden Festival at
EPCOT. It's one of my favorite festivals. You'll be amazed by the breathtaking displays of flowers and gardens, and there are plenty of delicious bites to try as you explore.
