Hiya Barbara! Welcome to planDisney!
We are often asked the best time to plan a trip to the Disneyland Resort. My answer? Anytime! I'm glad you're getting a jump-start on planning your fairytale vacation this fall. You'll certainly want to get your
autograph books and photo albums ready, as your favorite characters just can't wait to get up close and personal again! High-fives, autographs, hugs.. they're all back with the return of
Character Greetings!
So Barbara.. you've stumbled upon planDisney! Here in our little corner of the internet, we spend lots of time letting our power shine by answering Guest questions. Whether you wonder where you can find the best Mickey-shaped treats at the theme parks, which Disneyland Resort Hotel is right for you or how Disney Genie+ can save you time and improve your park day, we're here to explain! No question is too big or small! However, our magic does have its limits. planDisney is not a place to book your vacation, but we can certainly point you in the right direction!
While we don't book Disneyland vacations directly, you can book your trip using the
Disneyland Resort Website. While the options available to you for your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth can take you to infinity and beyond, I find that there are three main components to get the process started.
First, choose the best accommodation for you. I always recommend staying at Disneyland Resort Hotel because you'll feel like your vacation never ends when you stay here! Even when you leave the parks, the magic continues through the immersive, incredible theming at these hotels. You may also opt for a
Good Neighbor Hotel if that suits your family better.
Second, purchase your park tickets. You can purchase them on your own or package them with your hotel reservation. You can choose from a One Park Per Day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket, which allows you to visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day.
Finally, make theme park reservations. This is an important step as theme park reservations are required to enter either park. If you purchase your tickets through the Disneyland Resort Website, as I mentioned above, you will be required to choose a date that also serves as your theme park reservation once you check out. If you end up purchasing your ticket through a different third-party vendor, you'll
make theme park reservations here. Barbara, I always find booking through the Disneyland Resort directly to be the best option. If you'd like help with this process, you can
contact a Cast Member via phone to help you through the process. Booking your vacation over the phone can be helpful as you can have a real-life helper handling the technology aspect on the other end of the phone, helping make all your dreams come true!
I hope this helps answer your question today, Barbara!
