Bonjour Danielle and welcome back to planDisney.
Oh my goodness me, you’re staying at
The Disneyland Hotel? Wow, you are in for a real treat!
Although this is the only hotel that I have yet to stay at, at
Disneyland Paris, my family spent an afternoon there during our last visit, whilst my daughter attended My Royal Dream and we ate at The Royal Banquet. Honestly, it is without doubt the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. The chandelier as you walk into the lobby is absolutely breathtaking. I’m not jealous at all!
There are a few different ways in which you can
travel from Charles de Gaulle airport to Disneyland Paris:-
1/ The Magical Shuttle airport transfer.
This service provides regular connections between Charles De Gaulle airport and the Disney Hotels, the Disney Parks, Partner Hotels and Les Villages Nature Paris.
2/ By train.
The TGV high speed train will take you to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy train station in approximately 12 minutes. The station is then just a 2-minute walk from the Disney Parks.
3/ Hire a car.
Avis is the preferred Disneyland Paris partner and all guests can park for free at their Disney Hotel.
4/ A pre-arranged private transfer.
This journey would take approximately 30 - 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
When using a pre-arranged private transfer, typically, you’ll be met at the airport arrivals by your driver, who will help you with your luggage and take you straight to your hotel, with no stops.
5/ Use a rideshare service.
Similar to a pre-arranged private transfer, this journey would take approximately 30 - 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Costs do vary depending on the day and time of your journey but, generally speaking, this would be a cheaper option to a pre-arranged private transfer.
My family have used all of these different methods, over the years, but, more recently, we have tended to use a rideshare service as we feel that this offers both convenience and value for money.
In terms of pre-check-in activities, as you are literally on the doorstep of
Disneyland Park, you could leave your bags at the hotel and head straight into the park or, you could spend some time soaking up the atmosphere at your hotel. Maybe enjoy an arrival cocktail at the Fleur de Lys Bar or, have lunch at the Royal Banquet.
I hope that this information has been on use, Danielle. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your 2026 trip to Disneyland Paris.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
