Karibu, Maia, to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As your son knows all so well, "Fierce, fast and brave and strong, look out, here comes the Lion Guard!" This is how Kion and his band of adorably brave friends defend the Circle of Life in Disney's Lion Guard.
As of now, Kion, Binga, Fuli, Ono, and Beshte are protecting the Pride Lands and have not found a moment to visit Guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort. They may arrive so stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for updates on everything happening in the theme parks. Until then, there are lots of other opportunities to see fun Disney's The Lion King friends.
Hip, hop, jump, and dance with Timon and Rafiki at the
Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party. This party will definitely get your son rockin'. Then Pumbaa and Timon rally all the lions, elephants, giraffes and warthogs (these are the groups the audience is divided up into to make cheering animal noises) in the Festival of the Lion King inside the Harambe Theater to celebrate Simba. My favorite is the tumble monkeys whose acrobatics are the best entertainment of the entire show. They are hilarious. You will even get a little Simba and Zazu when they sing "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" during
Mickey's PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom Park.
Disney Dad Tip: There are lots of wonderful
Disney character meet and greets. Hopefully, Evan will get to see lots of his Disney friends including the Big Cheese, Mickey Mouse!
Maia, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
