Bonjour! I’ll be at Magic Kingdom for 1st time with my daughter on Dec 23rd. I checked the website and I wasn’t able to find schedule for the Parade. It shows “empty” time. Would you please let me know if there will be any parede (besides Christmas parade)?

    Bonjour Thais!

Welcome, and Bienvenue to planDisney! I wish I knew more French but that's it. If you are interested we also have a French-Speaking side to planDisney that you should definitely check out! In the meantime, I am humbly here to help you!

I am sorry that you are not seeing the updated calendar. Santa's elves are still working but on the US Walt Disney World Site, the Hours & Events Calendar does show some more information than what it does for the Canadian Walt Disney World Site. That's unfortunate but don't worry here is the information you need. There are currently no performances of the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade scheduled for December 23 to December 31, 2023. It does appear though as it has been tradition from years past that Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will take its place. It looks to have a scheduled time of 12 PM and 3 PM.  That's so exciting as this parade is usually only held during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party but during this special week, it is held during regular Park hours. I had a chance to enjoy this parade during this special week last year and it was just fabulous. It's one of my favorite parades and with such unique characters! Make sure to find a good spot right on Main Street, U.S.A, for a chance to experience magical "snow."

I know that this is your first time with your daughter and you are wanting to enjoy different parades but know that this is not just a simple "Christmas Parade." Walt Disney World Resort creates an explosion of jolly and magic with this parade using rare and familiar characters. I love the music and the fact that it is tradition to have a Christmas Parade in the Parks since Walt Disney himself opened Disneyland Park. You will not be disappointed and this may spur you to come back again another time for a new experience!

I hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to come back!

    Happy Planning!
