    Bonjour Stephanie, Myself and a couple of girlfriends are looking to plan our first Disney vacation. We are looking to have a good time (at a moderate price), but we would also like some down time too. What resort would you recommend? Merci!

    Thanks for for sending me your question!  I am so excited to hear you are planning your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort, I am positive you will have a magical time!  My absolute favourite Moderate Disney Resort for an Adult getaway is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  I like this resort because it is one of the smaller Disney Resorts, but still offers fabulous amenities.  There is also Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside within walking distance giving you even more options for dining, shopping and entertainment.  

    Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter has a New Orleans - French Quarter theme with beautiful landscaping and a fun Mardi Gras Feel.  The Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court offers fabulous Quick Service Dining Options.  If you would like to experience some Table Service Dining options, there are many Table Service Dining choices at Downtown Disney, just a short water taxi ride away!  Scat Cat's Lounge is a great place to unwind after a long day in the Theme Parks and I would also recommend heading Over to the River a Roost Lounge at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to enjoy an evening with Yehaa Bob.  Another reason I love this Resort is because of transportation.  Since it is a smaller resort, I find the buses to be less crowded and if they are shared with Disney's Port Orleans Resort in my experience, guests at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter are the first to be picked up and dropped off.  

    Whatever Disney Resort you choose, I am sure you will have a magical time.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would love to hear from you again!
