Is Bon Voyage Breakfast (7:35 am) reservation better before our Epcot or Hollywood Studios Day? Will take cab from AoA to get there. Which is the fastest to get to from Boardwalk so we can maximize our early time at park and get on the headliner rides? Thx

    Hi Amy,

What a great plan! Both Epcot and Hollywood Studios are easily accessible from Trattoria al Forno by foot, and it's really a toss-up as to which is faster. Here are a few things to consider:

The International Gateway entrance of Epcot is a short walk, just 5-10 minutes from the restaurant, depending on how fast you walk. That entrance isn't likely to be crowded at that time of day, so you should be inside quickly. The walk to the most popular Epcot rides -- Frozen Ever After, Soarin' and Test Track -- is another 10 to 15 minutes from that entrance.

It will take a little longer to get to the gate at Hollywood Studios. The walk is about 15 to 20 minutes, and you may find more people in line at this main entrance at that time. Once inside, however, each of the major attractions -- Toy Story Mania!, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Star Wars Launch Bay -- are within a 5-minute walk.

In either case, I would avoid the water taxis from Boardwalk to the parks. They move at a very leisurely pace.

I'm sorry I didn't give you a definitive answer, Amy. My family would probably give the coin toss to Epcot, but only because that is our favorite park. Either way, you are in a perfect position to maximize your time in one of the parks.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please check back with us if we can help in any other way. Enjoy!
