Hi Lori!
The
Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno is such a fun way to start your day for kids and adults! Not only will you be treated to
an amazing breakfast, but you’ll also get to meet some of Disney’s famous couples! Usually, Ariel and Eric, as well as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, visit during your meal.
Disney’s
Minnie Van Service is certainly the most convenient method to get to
Disney’s BoardWalk. Minnie Van prices include a base rate, and then a per-mile charge. Each Minnie Van can seat up to six Guests and has two car seats available. If you were a party of six or smaller, I think the Minnie Van would be the best and easiest choice. The price of the Minnie Van is subject to change, but once on property, you can use the Lyft App to price out your Minnie Van trip.
Because you are a group of 14, you would need three Minnie Vans to get your entire party to the BoardWalk. It may be difficult to secure three at once, and the premium price paid for ease and convenience of the Minnie Van may not be worth it to you. If I were going to make this journey, I would call for two Mears taxi vans. These vans can fit up to seven, and so you would only need two, and the cost would be more budget-friendly. You can call yourself, ask the front desk for assistance, or use the Mears mobile app to order your vans. I would call for your taxi no later than 6:45 am. If you choose to use Minnie Van, you'll need three separate people in your group to use the app and each request a Minnie Van, as you can only request one each. I would do this no later than 6:30 am in case it takes a bit of time to get all three.
Another idea, that may or may not be an option, would be the new
Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner will service Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and with a quick gondola change at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, you can get to the International Gateway of Epcot! Since the Skyliner doesn’t open until the end of September, there are still a lot of details to be learned. At this time, the daily operating hours of the Skyliner are scheduled to begin 30 minutes before park opening. Looking at November, this won’t work for your timeframe that day, but I do think it will be worth watching how operations go, as hours may change by the time your trip arrives.
Happy planning!
