Boma's breakfast is sold out 1. Since a rez isn't required (just recommended) do they still leave space for walk-ins? 2. AK opens at 8am, but Boma opens at 7:30am. Will they let us in earlier if we're trying to get there when Boma opens?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Junvi! I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Boma - Flavors of Africa is a wonderful place to have breakfast before your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. However, I did want to mention that Boma - Flavors of Africa is actually not at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park but rather at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge which is a resort near the theme park. They are not connected so you would actually need to visit the resort for your breakfast. From there, you can then take a bus over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park if that is where you plan on spending the rest of the day. You do not need to enter Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to enjoy breakfast at Boma - Flavors of Africa.

Right now, on top of advanced dining reservations, Boma - Flavors of Africa is utilizing a virtual waitlist for walk-up Guests. When you get to the resort, you can open the MyDisneyExpience app and join the walkup list that way. If you aren't seeing any availability on the virtual walk-up list when you arrive, then you should head over to the hostess stand and the Cast Members working there will be able to help you out.

I think that breakfast at Boma - Flavors of Africa, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, is a great value for your money, Junvi. Adults can enjoy all-you-can-eat for just $29 and children for $17. On the menu you'll find offerings like pancakes, waffles, muffins, breakfast meats, a variety of omelets, salads, yogurts and so much more. I've dinned at Boma - Flavors of Africa for breakfast before and everything is really yummy. I think you will enjoy it too.

I hope this helps, Junvie. If you have any other questions as you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation ,please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
