Hi, Lorie!
Just the mention of dining at Boma - Flavors of Africa makes me hungry. This is one of my favorite buffets in Walt Disney World.
Dining locations list a range only because prices can vary due to holidays, busy times of the year and can even change on the weekends. Add onto that that listed prices are always subject to change, and it really gets confusing! The good thing is that prices are clearly stated when you arrive, so there should be no surprises when the bill comes.
This can make budgeting a bit difficult. I usually look at the highest price, then I feel happy if the price is lower. It's like a little bonus! For example, I was at Boma last week. I paid about $45 per person for the dinner buffet, but then they took my Annual Pass discount on top of that, so I only paid about $41 (plus tax and tip). Make sure to ask about any discounts (DVC, Disney Visa, etc.) at Table Service locations.
If you want to take the guess work out of dining prices, you can look into adding the
Disney Dining Plan to your
Magic Your Way vacation package. For one set price per each night of your stay, each guest receives 1 Table Service meal, 1 Quick Service meal, 2 snacks, plus a refillable mug to use at your Disney Resort hotel. Read through the
details to see if this might be an option for your family.
Finally, make sure to make your
dining reservations up to 180 days in advance online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE. This is the hardest part: Choosing which restaurants to enjoy. Good luck deciding!
