At BOG dinner, is it possible to order just a side, such as the macaroni and cheese augratin without a complete meal? Or if you order a meal that comes with veggies, but you want the macaroni, will they let you substitute sides? Thanks.

    Hey there, Christi!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. I'm more than happy to help a fellow Tennessean!

If you only wanted to order a side item at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I'm sure that would be absolutely fine! After a full day in the parks, you may just want a lighter dinner or to save more room for dessert. I feel sure that the friendly Cast Members would be happy to accommodate your request to substitute a side item as well. It certainly never hurts to ask! If you are planning to use the Disney Dining Plan and decide to only order a side item, you may want to pay out-of-pocket for it and then save your dining credit for later. That way you'll get a full meal when you use your dining credit.

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything else. Have a magical upcoming vacation and make lots of memories!
