Does any body know if you can take in a number ballon into Disney for a picture?

    Hi Carina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Sounds like you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or other milestone: congratulations! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate something special than with a trip to “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”

I checked with Guest Services, who told me that balloons are allowed in Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You may not bring balloons into Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the safety of the animals. Please note that Walt Disney World’s security Cast Members may restrict certain items if they deem them a safety risk, so please be careful that you’re not bringing anything too large into the parks that could interfere with the experience of other Guests.

Carina, I hope you capture exactly the photo you are hoping for! If you are indeed celebrating something special, be sure to stop at Guest Services to request a celebration button; when you wear these special buttons, Cast Members and your fellow Guests are notified that you’re celebrating, and they can share good wishes and sometimes even some pixie dust.

When celebrating a special occasion (or, you know, a Monday) at Walt Disney World, treats are in order! Be sure to stop in at one of the many bakeries around the parks for a Mickey Rice Krispie Treat, cake pop, caramel apple, or any of the other amazing and magical sweets. Don’t forget to take pictures!

    Wishing you a magical celebration,
    Robyn
