Hi Gale!
The
Hoop Dee Doo Revue is a must for every Walt Disney World guest. This rip roarin' musical dinner show will have you clapping and stomping your feet while dining on some great authentic delicious barbecue fare.
If you are staying at the Grand Floridian resort it would be easiest if you chose to use the boat transportation to get to the
Fort Wilderness Resort. Take the monorail and get off at the Magic Kingdom stop. The Fort Wilderness boats are located just at the end of the monorail ramps on the right side. The Fort Wilderness lines will be those on the right side. These are the larger boats and can accommodate the ECV's and Wheelchairs easily. Once you arrive at the Fort it will be a short distance to Pioneer Hall where the Hoop Dee Doo Revue is held. Cast members will be glad to assist you in directions for entering the hall.
To return to the Grand Floridian you can reverse your steps but please check the closing hours of the Magic kingdom as transportation will only go for an hour after that time. If for some reason the park closes earlier that evening then there will be resort buses available to get you back to the resort. Again just check with the cast members there for assistance.
Just for the record, the smaller boats that travel between the Fort Wilderness Resort, Contemporary Resort, and Wilderness Lodge Resort cannot accommodate the ECVs.
Have a great time!
