Are the boats running at Port Orleans?

Hi there, Sharon, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you're here with this great question today. Walt Disney World Resort boat transportation is one of my favorite ways to get to my next destination - the relaxed sightseeing is so much fun!

Sharon, I'm happy to report that you can take a boat from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter to Disney Springs, and back. Please note that for the safety of all Guests and Cast Members, this type of transportation is subject to availability based on local weather conditions. I suggest checking with a Cast Member at the Front Desk to be sure the boats are running when you'd like to board them. If you have any additional questions about where you can take a boat, you can read even more about Water Transportation on this helpful webpage

In the event that a boat isn't available, you should be able to board a bus to head to your destination. I like to check the My Disney Experience Mobile App to get the best routes to where I'm headed, if I'm ever unsure.

I hope this is helpful as you continue to navigate through your magical vacation! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    Have a magical day!
