Are the boats running from PO Riverside to Disney Springs?

    Greetings, Dorothy!

Welcome back to planDisney! Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort is one of my favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World. The quiet laid back ambiance creates a charming place to have a vacation within a vacation.

There are so many amenities and recreation offerings at Port Orleans Riverside. I am happy to confirm that one of these perks, the Walt Disney Water Transportation to Disney Springs is indeed up and running. You can board this water taxi at the dock right across from Riverside Food Mill.

While you are enjoying your stay in the magic, be sure to plan some resort time. I love a mid-day break at Ol' Man Island. There is ample deck space at the pool for lounging and Muddy Rivers pool bar offers delicious cocktails and mocktails that are perfection on a hot afternoon. This may be the only time you want a hurricane at Walt Disney World! If hanging by the pool isn't your ideal vaca day, there is still so much more to do! Campfires, bike rentals, fishing, and even Movies Under the Stars. Dorothy, you are going to have an amazing adventure. Don't forget to take the quick walk (or boat ride) over to Port Orleans French Quarter for amazing Mickey beignets. I love enjoying one at the resort while taking in the views and one or two more on the walk back. My advice- eat them outside whenever you can. And try not to laugh right before taking a bite!

We can't wait to see ya real soon!
