Are the boats running between Contemporary and Wilderness lodge, and if so what time do they start?

    Welcome to planDisney, Chase!

There are many benefits to staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. One of my personal favorites is the complimentary transportation. Not only are the various transportation services convenient, but some of them are attractions in and of themselves. Even though I don't love heights, I do enjoy flying through the skies on Disney Skyliner. It's so cool being in a themed gondola and seeing Walt Disney World from up above. However, my absolute favorite way to travel is by taking a water taxi. Is there any more adventurous and romantic way to get from A to B?

Chase, as of today, there isn't any water transportation between Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge. What you'll need to do is take the monorail or walk from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. From there you can easily jump on a water taxi to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. You'll do the same thing on the way back.

Alternatively, you can always take an Uber/Lyft. It'll cost you some pennies, but save you some time. However, if you're not strapped for time, I think you'll love taking the water taxi. If you can time one of your water taxi journeys for when the fireworks are happening at Magic Kingdom Park it really is quite special.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Chase. See ya real soon!
