Welcome to planDisney, Brian.
There are many benefits to staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. One of my personal favorites is the
complimentary transportation. Not only are the various transportation services convenient, but some of them are attractions in and of themselves. I recently had the joy of flying through the skies on the new
Disney Skyliner. I'll be honest: I don't love heights, but I thoroughly enjoyed being in a themed gondola and seeing Walt Disney World from up above. However, my absolute favorite way to travel is by taking a
water taxi. Is there any more adventurous and romantic way to get from A to B?
Brian, as of today, there isn't any water transportation between
Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. What you'll need to do is take the monorail or walk from the Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. From there you can easily jump on a water taxi to Wilderness Lodge.
If you've got a dinner reservation at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White or
Whispering Canyon Cafe then I'm sure you're going to have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time. Here's an idea for you: if you time it right, after your meal, try catching a water taxi back to Magic Kingdom Park when
Disney Enchantment is starting. My planDisney friends and I did this back in December. It was so magical! You'll get to enjoy a free fireworks cruise!
I hope that's helpful, Brian. Have an enchanting time at
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
ChEARS,
Mike
