Do the boats that run between the Contemporary or Magic Kingdom and go to the Hoop De Doo hold passengers using an ECV?

Hi Jamie! There are two boats that carry passengers around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The larger boats that go between the Fort Wilderness Resort and the Wilderness Resort and the Magic Kingdom will handle ECVs and wheelchairs and open strollers.

The smaller boats that connect the Contemporary Resort, the Wilderness Resort, and the Fort Wilderness Resort will not be able to accept ECVs on board. This is also the case with the smaller boats that connect the Seven Seas Lagoon resorts. You can check out all the various Water Transportation Options for you while at Walt Disney World.

If you are at the Contemporary Resort and want to get to the Hoop Dee Doo then you can go to the Magic Kingdom and catch the boat to Fort Wilderness. If you are at the Wilderness Lodge resort you would also need to head to the Magic Kingdom first and then catch the larger boat to Fort Wilderness when you have an ECV. I hope this helps with your planning for your upcoming Disney vacation!
