Will the boat wait for you while you're at the islands?

    Hi Janet -

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel site and logging in a question. I am assuming that you are referring to the Castaway Cay port of call. Disney's private island is an awesome oasis that is available to be used exclusively by Disney Cruise Line guests for the day. It's awesome!

Your Disney ship will remain docked on the island, so it is very easy to go back and forth from the ship. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk from the family beach, just in case you need a quick return to your stateroom with your kids. You'll need to remember to have your Key to the World Card and a photo ID with you every time you get on and off the ship. Even the little ones will need their Cards at the gangway since everyone gets scanned in and out.

There are lots of activities on Castaway Cay and you and your family are definitely in for a treat! Please do let us know if you have any additional questions as you prepare for your upcoming magical cruise. Here's a peek at what you can look forward to for your day at Castaway Cay.

    Have an awesome day, Janet!
