    With a boat being the only transportation from Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom, what is Disney's alternative method in inclement weather when the boats can't operate, whether going from park to campground or vice versa?

    Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    While I'd love to say that I've never experienced a single day of inclement weather in my many years of visiting Walt Disney World, that would just get me a Pinocchio's nose. I can truthfully say that it does sometimes rain in the Sunshine State. I can also say that safety is key at Walt Disney World. You're correct, Patti, that water transportation is the most direct way to travel from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Magic Kingdom. In the event that the water transportation services need to be suspended, the Resort will add more motorcoaches for Walt Disney World Bus Service to Magic Kingdom.
