Is there still boat transportation between Boardwalk resort and Hollywood Studios?

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Tavia!

Disney's BoardWalk Inn is one of my favorite Epcot Area Resort hotels. The ambiance at this waterfront property will instantly transport you to turn-of-the-century Atlantic City. My kids really enjoy the Luna Park Pool complete with a clown waterslide! You will really appreciate the laid-back feel of this hotel along with all the excitement that happens on the Coney Island-style boardwalk area of the Resort at night!

You might be happy to hEAR that it is still possible to use boat transportation between Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Friendship Launch Boats leave about every 20 minutes from the dock in the center of Disney's BoardWalk. It will stop at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Walt Disney World Swan Hotel before heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

While it is possible to travel between the two destinations via water taxi with Walt Disney World® Water Transportation, you may also opt for a leisurely stroll by means of the walking pathway along the waterway. This latter option takes about 15-20 minutes from start to finish, depending on your walking pace and barring any side stops. So, it is often the case we choose to walk instead.

I hope this was helpful information, Tavia. Please come back soon with more Disney vacation planning questions.

Wishing you a most magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!
