Ahoy there Michael! Thanks for cruising by planDisney with another great question. I'll be your skipper on this journey to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
My crew and I arrrrr huge fans of
Disney's Old Key West Resort. In fact, we became
Disney Vacation Club members after our first stay here, and we consider Conch Flats a second home. Under normal circumstances, this resort provides transportation for both sailors and landlubbers alike; however, during the current phase of reopening,
the Disney Springs watercraft is not operating.
While the watercraft that carries Guests down the Sassagoula River is in dry dock, you'll still be able to take advantage of bus transportation from your resort. Disney's Old Key West Resort is located just around the river bend from the exciting shopping and dining opportunities in
Disney Springs, so you and your fellow scalawags won't be on board long before reaching your destination.
Daily bus service is available from approximately 45 minutes prior to opening until 1:00 AM giving you plenty of time to explore this dynamic entertainment district.
Michael, because operations are constantly evolving this year at the Walt Disney World Resort, I recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go information page for the latest updates. That way, if the Disney Springs watercraft sets sail before your trip, you'll know.
Thanks again for stopping by to see us. Have a wonderful vacation, and we'll see ya real soon!
Bon voyage,
Betsy
