    Is the boat running at Old Key West?

    Hey there, Julie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! There’s nothing like planning a vacation to Walt Disney World and November will be here before you know it!

    Our family absolutely loves taking a leisurely cruise across the “seas” at Walt Disney World. While I’ve not had the opportunity to stay at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, we’ve stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside a number of times and we always enjoy catching a boat to Disney Springs.

    As of right now, Water Transportation to Disney Springs from Disney’s Old Key West Resort is not currently in operation at this time. As you know, Disney is taking enhanced health and safety measures as they conduct a phased reopening of Walt Disney World. However, I would suggest that you keep a close eye on the “Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go” page as this may change prior to your vacation (fingers crossed!). In either case, I’m hopeful we’ll both be cruising the “seas” at Walt Disney World Resort very soon.
